I'll update and call it quits, if anyone still reads or cares.

Im officially a Sophomore in college, Jake likes to argue Im not, but I've got the proper amount of hours and credits. So bam, Arian is a Sophomore. I go to Amarillo College, just the community college that offers a great education for a really cheap price. Plus...the state basically pays me to go to school, I can't deny cheap classes and a large Grant check at the beginning of the semester, now can I?
It's been a year with my Jake, and there are going to be countless more. Jake is my whole world, and is absolutely perfect.
Family had excommunicated me, probably for the last time. Arian now = selfish bitch who won't pay her sister's way through expensive and worthless college nor give mommy-dearest cash when she wants. They have financial trouble, I do not. They, as in my mother and sister, a dynamic duo who plans to rob me blind. Joy. Lovin' mah family!
Moving come July with my friend C.C. Her sister is getting married this summer and moving to Austin, so C.C. is in need of a room mate. She hates to be alone. So, I'll be packing my things and herding up my insane dog, Willy, and finally getting the Hell out of my mother's home. Other than Jakey, it's the one thing in my life Im looking forward to.
Work; I work for Lonestar Ballet. I am currently working on a project for Cinderella in April, 2009. I'm painting the massive 25x50 foot back drops, along with the 6 legs and 3 prosceniums. I have to do 2 sets of these. For you theatre people out there, you will understand what a huge undertaking this is. The drop business I like very much, not so much my employers. I got screwed in the end and wasn't given the proper space I needed. I am now crammed into a small shop at the back of the Ballet, where I can't even roll out the whole drop. So in essence... I hate my job. Sounds cool on paper, I get payed shit, and in the end, wish I had never signed the contract. But... I am being an 'artist'. That's the one plus, I get paid to paint. I like that.
Amarillo, Texas is proving to be less of a Hell-hole. It has Jake, cheap AC and grant checks, a nice coffee shop, and a few good parks. Might stay around just long enough to get my Associates in Art...
Someday I'll re-update. I usually do. And when I do, maybe someday things will have gotten better round here. I bet they do. Jake and I always look forward to someday. It's a better place for the both of us. :]
Goodbye,
A
