I can see the work put into the shading on the skin... it really looks wonderful.

Your coloring and attention to detail with coloring is masterful. You've really learned how to make shading work... now I think you need to take a step back and learn how to draw anatomy properly. I'd start with the face, but honestly there is too much to work with. 3/4 views are hard to do, but when you use 'center lines' to line up where things should go they become a lot easier. This piece would look so much better if it didn't look like someone took an electric mixer to her facial features.
Her center of gravity is almost non-existent... even if she was in mid dance she would not be able to stand like that. Perhaps if she had something she was leaning against, it would make more sense. Otherwise she'd be well on her way to falling on her butt by now
A last thing to say... when you spend so much time on perfecting the skin, the best thing to do for the picture is to add some sort of background. Even a horribly-done background is much better than a plain color... plain color takes away from the character by making things look out of place and uninteresting.
Overall I must say I really like the attention you have to the details in coloring... just work on those basic anatomy skills and you'll be set
Also: I know my gallery doesn't have any drawing-type artwork in it... but that's because I stopped drawing about four months ago because of school. Drawing for college means I don't want to draw in my free time anymore

Beautys ensign yet Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks, And deaths pale flag is not advanced there.
Thank you! But technically she doesn't have a gravity. Im my little world of art, I try to let go instead of being so down to earth and serious. Maybe she's floating, maybe she jumped? Who knows!
The anatomy is a little off, oh well. Im extremely happy with the skin and colors... I did get lazy with the cloth though.
Your comment is greatly apreciated, Im tired of people pussy-footing around saying what's what, and how they view it.
I agree with Literary--Device, a background would have been nice knowing what you can do
It seems a sort of magical picture so I think that the centre of gravity doesn't really matter - floating, flying, it's a mysterious work so it isn't important.
I love the skin detail! All that work seems to have paid off

Oh great work! The skins is very realistic, and her outfit is amazing The only problem I see is on the face, her eyes might be a bit twisted But other than that, great work!
Hello darling. Surprised to see me here? Good. I forbid you for going to my page and looking through my gallery. It's not allowed.
Anyway, I've read through all the other comments, and I, being, probably, the most art retarded person on the planet, don't really have anything else to add. Except, I absolutely adore her hair. Just FYI.
